Lord's Seat comes into view as we start the ascent of Sale Fell.
The first section of the ascent is short and steep.
Once it's done the rest of the ascent is a gentle wander through the many bumps that make up Sale Fell.

We take the time to admire the view across to Skiddaw.
The route to Lothwaite is easy to follow.
Bassenthwaite comes into view as we reach Lothwaite.
This bench is the ideal spot for a quick snack as the light begins to fade.
